Antique tortoiseshell, ivory and silver sewing box
In lovely condition with beautifully coloured tortoiseshell . The lid opens to reveal sewing accessory space. The edges of base and lid lined with ivory. A lower drawer with ivory locking mechanism, also with veneers of ivory.
The lid with an inlaid pirced and engraved brass panel depicting flowers.
All knobs and handles are of turned ivory and the feet are also of ivory. A lovely box.
