Bronze Bust of The Goddess Diana
Good quality bronze of the figure of Diana after the model by Houdon. There are elements of gilt bronze in this study including the sickle moon in her hair, the belt over her shoulder and the socle to the base. It stands upon a further ebonised wooden base.
Signed "Ron Bulio Diana de Houdon" on the reverse of the bust and "Societe de bronze" on the socle.
French, circa 1900.
