English late Regency blackamoor urns
A superb pair of English Regency blackamoor urns.
The blackamoors stand on naturalistically chased domed bases on square plinths which are supported on paw feet.
The blackamoor figures in open shirts and breeches are of parcel gilt and patinated bronze.
The faces of the blackamoors are superbly modelled.
Each blackamoor is holding above his head a reeded urn.
Original gilding but with some wear. Superb quality and very rare.
England circa 1825.
